Rydal Hall resides in 34 acres of stunning parkland in the heart of the English Lake District. The main house is a Grade II listed historic building with some parts dating back to the 1600s.
There are 30 bedrooms in the hall, and all have been upgraded to provide comfortable en-suite or private facilities and offer a choice of full, half board or B&B. All food is freshly prepared in the kitchen using local and seasonal produce wherever possible.
While staying at Rydal Hall you can explore the beautiful Lake District surroundings, or simply enjoy the peace and quite right here. There are areas for relaxation, a licensed bar, a small shop area, and a drying room for wet clothing. The building has been adapted for guests with disabilities.
We rehearse in the Bishop Bulley Barn, which is about 100 yards from the back door of Rydal Hall. Note that the walk to the barn is uneven and there are plenty of steps. Here’s a picture:
